Mike vs Web: the blog and projects of a web developer fascinated by the web and all its technical greatness.


Naturally creative, with demonstrated talents in design, web development, illustration and writing, Michael found a passion in problem solving and delivering innovative solutions. He is a web developer with strengths in customizing and building websites and mobile applications from design concepts using the latest in open-source technologies.

Michael graduated with honours from BCIT with a focus on Web Development. Learned from several industry professionals in information architecture, project management, and programming in several open source languages and content management systems.

Working several years as a website developer and content management system trainer, he knows the inner workings of a website and how to answer questions that may arise. Michael also spoke at WordCamp YYC 2013. The workshop was titled: Please Respond! Responsive design and why your site needs it.

Michael is a supporter of the W3C and white hat marketing techniques. He strongly believes in a semantic and relevant online experience.
