Voice Driven Google Map

Upon reading the HTML5 Rocks article regarding this awesome addition to HTML5, I had to try it out. I think most people that grew up watching Star Trek: TNG, would love the ability to speak commands to your devices; and to do it in a W3C standardized way is even better. I also wanted to test out PureCSS after reading an article about it in a front end developer group I occasionally check out on LinkedIn. Reading about it being a responsive framework only 5.7kb in size was enough to peak my interest.

After testing, it only works in Chrome (it’s my preferred browser, but FireFox’s Dev Tools are pretty amazing), so this is purely for educational and experimental reasons and should probably not be used in production, unless you want to be a web development badass.
